Tiffany Farms

established in 1848

The Farm on 156 Sterling City Road was first established in the early 1700’s. The white farm house was built by Captain Samuel Selden in the year 1722 and was bought by the Tiffany’s in 1848. Tiffany Farms was a working dairy farm until Fall of 2017 when the dairy cows were sold. November 7th of the same year, the 90 foot tall silo, nearly full, fell collapsing the milking parlor, a garage, and part of the calf barn. There were no injuries to the family or the livestock however it was the ‘collapse heard ‘round the world’.

The farm was owned and operated by John ‘Jack’ Tiffany II until his death in January of 2018. Today, Tiffany Farms is owned by his wife Sue Tiffany, and is operated by his son John J. Tiffany III. He can, and will, guarantee the quality of beef on our farm is savory, delectable and will leave you speechless with every bite.

The Tiffany family, including cousins, nieces and nephews, has linked arms to bring the most renowned farm in Lyme back to life in a way we’ve all dreamt of. Not only are we providing family and friends with mouth-watering beef, but also brightening their weekends with fresh flowers and vegetables during the summer and fall. Jennifer and Andrea Tiffany, nieces of Jack Tiffany and daughters of the late Leon H. Tiffany Jr, as well as Jennifer’s husband Bill, make everyone’s weekends a little sweeter with their farm stand you may have seen on the side of Rt. 156.

We invite you to enjoy beef the way it’s supposed to be… the Tiffany way.
